Bat-eared fox (Otocyon megalotis) walking on the grass. This small African fox is known for its enormous ears, which are over 13 centimetres tall. The ears are full of blood vessels that shed heat and keep the fox cool; they also give the fox a very good sense of hearing. Photographed in Masai Mara, Kenya.
