La Courondelle is a new district being constructed on the northern side of Beziers. When completed it will contain approximately 700 dwellings together with local services, schools and parks. There will be two neighbourhoods with extensive landscaped areas. The development is intended to meet an urgent need for extra housing while curbing urban sprawl and providing a new focus for the northern part of the city.
