It is quite a giganticFalconeri, looking at the flowers, but the pseudo-bulbs partake more of the character of astout Devonianum. Unlike Falconeri the bulbshave no nodes, and they do not elect to shoot offsubsidiary branches at right angles. Moreoverthe flowers are larger, much more telling incolour and better lasters than Falconers beau-tiful Dendrobe. This is a veritable acquisition,and might very properly bear a specific extra well grown pieces of D. crassinodewere situated in this temperature—very good,many of them, as varieties. Everybody nowhas a Barberianum, but net always of extraquality ; here it was very pronounced, and Dcrassinode album was a noteworthy plant—intruth the members of this spe
