A 1939 printed photograph of the birthplace (1833) of composer Johannes Brahms (1833-1897) in Hamburg, Germany. It was destroyed in WWII by bombing in 1943. Brahms was a Lutheran German composer, pianist, and conductor. He was a virtuoso pianist who composed symphonies , chamber music and pieces for piano, organ, voice, and chorus singers.
