This exceedingly low price on vegetables can hardly be attributed to financial conditions because it begun before the panic came upon us. Per- haps the mild winter weather is the most logical explanation. Prospects for the Season. Although vegetable forces have Jiad probably the most unsatisfactory season on record, as regards markets, they should not get discouraged at this stage of the game.
