It sends up a strong flower stem in the mid- dle of the sum- mer, bearing a large stalk of hite yellowish white l/j^'y \ flowers Strong \ 1 year old roots, iW^^N \ 30c.; strong 2 year old roots, 40c. Tigrldlas. These are not hardy, but one of the easiest bulbs to cultivate, sure to bloom in any situa- tion. Planted in the open ground in May, 2 inches deep, they bloom from July to October Lift the bulbs in a week or two when destroyed by frost, and store in any dry place the same as gladiolus. Their gorgeous flowers are beautiful and useful for cut flow- ers. Improvements iu this flower have, for the past few years, been much advanced, particularly in size and color of flower.
