The Oregon National Guard formally began its partnership with Vietnam's National Committee for Search and Rescue (VINASARCOM) in November of 2012. The partnership is designed to enhance the capabilities of VINASARCOM and the Oregon National Guard in areas of light and medium urban search and extraction and medical first response in disaster situations.
