A percussion pistol, Devisme, Paris, circa 1840. Octagonal barrel with offset flutes, multi-groove rifling in 12 mm calibre, a patent breech, and fine floral engraving (front sight broken off). The barrel signed, "Devisime à Paris(?)" on top. Percussion lock finely engraved with floral designs. Carved walnut half stock with fluted butt. Iron furniture engraved en suite.
