Morphology.—Ascaridia (p. 77) : Mouth with 3 semicircular lips provided with Laminae or "tooth plates" (Zahnplatten). Dorsal lip with 2 large papillae. Male 40 mm. long by mm. wide. Preanal sucker large, more or less circular, and provided with a eutinous (chitinous) ring. Nine pairs of papillae, 3 of them preanal, and in addition a small papilla on posterior rim of sucker (fig. 113).
