Layout of the Terminal Facilities Kansas City Passenger Station 313 The main building is 510 feet long by 150 feet wide, and it is126 feet high above the plaza level. The waiting room wing is 410feet long by 165 feet wide, and 73 feet high above the plaza the west of the main building are the express buildings extendingin a continuous stretch for more than 1,000 feet. The exterior of the building is in the Renaissance style of archi-tecture. The material is Indiana oolitic limestone. The main lobby,which is 100 by 240 feet, and 108 feet high, is finished in grayTennessee marble. The interior entrances, toilet, rest and waitingrooms are also marble finish. The roof is of cement tile. The main entrance to the station is on the south side, but thereis a carriage entrance at the west end. On entering the grand lobbyfrom the main entrances the traveler passes the ticket of^ce, and inthe center are two information booths, so placed that the streamsof travel pass by one or the other
