The Temple of Heaven is a complex of Taoist buildings situated in southeastern urban Beijing, in Xuanwu District. The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests is a round building constructed out of wood at the top of a flight of terraces. It is a shrine building reputed to have been built without nails.
