A confectioners drop roller use dto shape boiled sweets hard candy


This device is used to shape boiled sweets or hard candy. The boiled flavoured, coloured mass of sugar and glucose syrup (corn syrup) is passed between the contrarotating rollers and emerges as a web of drop shaped sweets. The web can then be broken up to individual sweets. The machine shown is a small hand powered one although large electrically powered drop rollers ca be made
