Named after the great renaissance Dutch philosopher and humanist, Rotterdam's beautiful new suspension bridge adds considerably to the city's skyline of exciting new in 1996, it crosses the Nieuwe Maas in the centre of Rotterdam, connecting the busy north and south sides of the city. It's nickname locally is 'the Harp'; viewed from this angle, it's easy to see why. And I have applied some post-processing to accentuate the strong graphic form - I hope you like it!
