St Mary theVirgin Church, Northill, Bedfordshire, stands in a large churchyard surrounded by a stone wall beside Ickwell Road and Bedford Road. A large lychgate erected in 1880 provides the entrance to the churchyard from Ickwell Road. It was designed by Sir Arthur Blomfield and was erected in memory of John Harvey of Ickwell Bury who was Northill’s Squire between 1815 and 1879.
