Historic Murchison house, a stilt house part of Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site in Richmond, BC (Greater Vancouver).


One of the homes, built on stilts by the Fraser River in Steveston (Richmond) BC, in the late 1800s, to house fishermen who worked in the area. Purchased by John Murchison in 1895, who was the areas first Police Chief. Now part of Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site.
