Morecambe, Lancshire, United Kingdom, 13th September 2015, The Ranch House pub in Morecambe is set to close at the end of January as part of the preparations for Opus North’s redevelopment of the former Frontier Land theme park which has been closed since 2000. The 10-acre site which is owned by Morison’s is set to be redeveloped and turned into the new £17m Bay Shopping Park along with new Brewers Fayre pub / restraint and a Premier Inn hotel. The remains of the 168 ft “Polo Tower” viewing platform which was originally at Blackpool Pleasure Beach is set to be demolished next year which once the agreement with telecoms company EE expires who currently have antenna located at the top of the demolition of the old Warehouse facilities to the rear of the site has already commenced.
