Golden or German Millet. Grows much taller thau the Hungarian Grass, and produces larger ciops ; it also requires more time to grow, and a good soil. An annual forage plant of great value. It flourishes during the heat of summer, remaining green when almost all other vegetation is dried up. It is one of the'very best plants for green fodder, or for ensilaging, and makes hay of the best quality.
