Warning page before entering the ‘Adult Services’ pages of the San Francisco Bay Area craigslist web site as seen on a laptop computer screen. Craigslist the Web’s largest classified advertising site which was started and is still based in San Francisco, California, has closed the ‘Erotic Services’ section of the site and created a category called ‘Adult Services’ under pressure from the Attorney Generals of a number of states that claim that craigslist promotes prostitution and other illegal activities.
