Chamberlain, and another, raised in Boston and vicinity, leftthe city in the steamer Pembroke for Fortress Monroe. Ninedays later, Capt. L. Leachs company from Bridgewater, Capt. Barness company from Bast Boston, Capt. Charles Chipmanscompany from Sandwich, and Capt. S. H. Dotens company fromPlymouth, sailed in the Cambridge, having the same the 22d, Capt. P. H. Daviss company from Lowell, and W. Clarkes of Boston, were carried by the Pembroke to jointhe Third and Fourth Regiments.
