0908154680O-049 5TH FLEET AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (Aug. 15, 2009) Sailors aboard the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) participate in physical training on the shipХs flight deck as part of Big 5 Wellness Day. Sailors spent Wellness Day conducting strength and conditioning exercises and learning about healthy habits including nutrition, exercise, responsible alcohol consumption and personal safety. The Bataan Amphibious Ready Group is conducting maritime security operations in the 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
