In New London the oljserver isimpressed by the amount of breathingspace, as it were, allotted to eachresidence. Nearly every one has agenerous front, side, and rear yard ;and in the summer season their greenand well kept lawns present a beau-tiful appearance. In vei-y truth. NewLonilon might be aptly called the Cityof Delightful iiesidences. The charniintj snlnirb of New Icquot section are very fine, andbespeak wealth and culture. It isthe yearly custom of not a few celebri-ties and generally notable people tospend at least a portion of the sum-mer here.
