MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Navy Janvincent Lopez, a Combat Skills Instructor at the Navy Tactical Readiness Training Center, explains to a Japan Ground Self Defense Force Soldier what the procedures for calling in an air lift for a simulated casualty are during exercise Iron Fist 2018, Jan. 22. Exercise Iron Fist brings together Marines from the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit and soldiers from the JGSDF, Western Army Infantry Regiment, to improve their bilateral planning, communicating, and conducting of combined amphibious operations.
