SOCIETIES The National Safety Council in ac-cordance with the action of the annualmeeting on Oct. 1 through its ExecutiveCommittee has approved the organiza-tion of an engineering section for thepurpose of bringing together the min-ing, civil, mechanical, electrical, andchemical engineers among the member-ship.
