210111-M-UV498-2109 INDIAN OCEAN (Jan. 11, 2021) – Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 164 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit disarm the weapon systems of an AH-1Z Viper after landing on the flight deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25). Somerset, part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, and the 15th MEU are conducting operations in the 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
