PASCAGOULA, MS - Representatives from Huntington Ingalls Industries, PCU Fort Lauderdale (LPD 28) and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair were aboard the Fort Lauderdale in order to deliver the ship to the Navy. Delivery marks the official transfer of the ship from the shipbuilder.
