SOUTH CHINA SEA (Aug. 19, 2017) Electrician’s Mate 2nd Class Joshua Dillon, right, a native of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, and Electrician’s Mate 3rd Class Steven Mason, a native of Shiprock, New Mexico, both assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) Engineering department, troubleshoot a leak in a soap dispenser in the ship’s scullery. America, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Asia Pacific region to strengthen partnerships and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
