By further foldings agreater variety may be produced. By these foldings it will be clearly seen that the base of each triangle is longer thaneither of its sides, and that the two acute angles of each triangle are together equal toone right angle. CUTTING PAPER. Paper cutting is that exercise by which an endless variety of forms are produced bycutting away a portion of the ground form; whereas, by paper folding, the figures areproduced upon the ground form.
