Michael Green, 688th Cyberspace Wing of the A1KB (personnel section) was promoted from GG-11 to GG-12, Feb. 8, 2021. “Mike has been an instrumental part of the 688 CW for over 14 years and has impacted many areas within the Wing, from commander’s support staff to workflow management and his most recent and long-term job within the Wing career development office,” said Mark Johnson, chief of career development and Green’s supervisor. “The support Mike provides will help “bring the future faster” by offering consolidated databases that provide a way to automate training requirements and ensure training standards are in compliance for multiple programs across the Wing.” The promotion includes duties associated with the Wing’s Learning Management System where he will provide administrative support in testing, developing and implementing internal and external courseware and content for the Wing. “I would like to thank my supervisor and senior leaders for this promotion as they see what I do from day-to-day-it means a lot to me,” said Michael Green, Acquisition Professional Development Program, Wing Staff’s personnel section. “For me, I just come in and do what I do and keep going. I’m here to assist where I can as that’s what I’ve always done. Thanks to everyone that has assisted me in my career.” Green is a retired Air Force Master Sgt. and has served in civil service for 15 years.
