This new Cabbage was procured at ten dollars per pound, from a famous Long Island Market Gardener, whose name it bears. Mr. Yandeegaw has been selecting this variety for many years, and has sold the Seed annually to neighboring growers of Cabbage, as high as § per ft and never less than per lb. We obtained a few pounds, ex- pressly to distri- bute, gratis, for trial among our customers, before offering it for sale. From all parts of the country we have received expressions of unaiv- imovspraise, and we could fill many pages of our Catalogue with testimonials. The Vandergaw forms la];ge solid heads, much larger than Early Summer, and almost as early. While if planted later it makes excellent heads for winter. The quality is very fine and, like our famous Surehead Cabbage, it is re- markable for its certainty to head. Per pkt. 10 cts.; oz. 30 cts.; 1^ ft) 85 cts.; per K) FOTTLER'S EARLY DRUMHEAD OR SHORT STEM BRUNSWICK CABBAGE. In its improved type, this is a first-class second early large heading Drumhead Cabbage. It heads shortly after the Early Flat Dutch, and is most excellent for summer and fall use. In New England it is also largely grown for winter, as the heads are very hard and solid. If the plants are set out late it makes one of the very best winter cab- bages. As shown in the illustra- tion, the plants have very short stems, and are very compact, of fine quality; our select strain is very sure heading. Per pkt. 5 cts.; oz. 25 cts.; ft) 75 cts.; per ft) ^.
