Cllr John Clancy is the Leader of Birmingham City Council. Cllr Clancy has represented the Quinton Ward since 2011 and was previously Hodge Hill councillor from 2002-06. In his two spells at Birmingham City Council, Cllr Clancy has been an active member of several key committees, including education scrutiny, regeneration scutiny, public protection and planning. He succeeded Sir Albert Bore as Leader of Birmingham City Council on 1 December 2015.
