In spite of thefact that they were denied local support the young men of theteam financed their own season and entered upon a very ambi-tious schedule. They started out by defeating all of the PugetSound teams and then added to their experience and glory bycrossing the Canadian border where they defeated the strongestteams playing under British colors.
