The Archaeological Museum of Delphi, one of the most important in Greece, exhibits the history of the Delphic sanctuary and one of the most famous ancient Greek oracle covering the long time period from prehistory to late antiquity. Its rich collections are comprised primarily of architectural sculpture, statues and minor objects donations and offerings to the sanctuary. The exhibition is focused mainly on the art of the Archaic period, on metal and marble offerings and on monumental architectural and sculptural works of art.
