Flesh yellow, solid, sweet and fine flavored. Equally good for stock or table use. The principal variety raised by market gardeners, sc. per oz.; 15c. per lb., 40C. per lb. Shamrock.—One of the finest purple top varieties in cultivation. Forms a handsome bulb, with small top and very few leaves. No garden is complete without a few Herbs for culinary and medicinal purposes, and care should be taken to harvest them properly.
