William Morris (1834-1896). From a albumen cabinet card by Elliott & Fry, 21st March 1877. Morris was an English textile designer, artist and writer. The prominent socialist was closely associated with the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and English Arts and Crafts Movement.
