A Hungarian knightly hand-and-a-half sword, circa 1480/90 Double-edged blade with shallow fullers on both sides. S-shaped quillons widening towards the ends. Heavy, slightly tapered tang with octagonal disc pommel. In the centre on both sides of the pommel a round recess with inset piece of silver sheet embossed with cross and fleur-de-lys motif, respectively.
