Farmer Ricky "Possum" Roussel (left) of Roussel Farm's checks in on his son's progress planting sugarcane on the acres of land that were formally soybean crops before the 2016 severe flooding in Louisiana killed them. Possum lost nearly 500 acres of soybean due to the flood, but he's made use of the remains by shredding the unharvested crops and using them as a compost while planting the new Louisiana Severe Storms and Flooding.
