Sandehn, was born inSmoland, Sweden, and was a tailor from boyhoodu|). lie died in Roekford In February, ,when lifty-live years of age, following his wife tothe grave, her death having occurred in January,1889, when forty-nine years of age. Both wereworthy members of the Swedish Methodist Episco-pal Ciiurch of Roekford. Of the nine childrenborn to tiieir marriage, six are dead. One daugh-ter, Olive 11., born August 10, 1864, died July 7,1890; the rest died in infancy; one son, Harold, isresiding with our subject, and is in the city schools,and a daughter, Anna, became the wife of WilliamA.
