Osteomyelitis of the dorsal vertebrae,of tubercular origin. Several small ab-scesses were aspirated, but only staphylo-cocci were found in the cultures. The pa-tient had no control over his legs. He re-ceived twenty-one x-ray treatments of tenminutes each on alteiitate days. He returned to the hospitalthe second day after this accident. I re-paired the wounds as well as possible, butlater found that infection of the joint hadtaken place. He was given x-ray treat-ments on alternative days, for ten minuteseach and the wound was covered with adressing of formalin, one to four thou-sand. In three weeks he had received eightx-ray treatments. The pus had all dis-appeared and the joint was perfectly healedwith the exception of two small granulat-ing points on the surface. The motion ofthe ankle joint was perfect. 3. Three spinal sinuses; two openingfrom the hip, and one behind near the sa-crum.
