I love electricity pylons; I find their abstract, gaunt shapes endlessly fascinating. Here we see one dominating the landscape in a field in Lower Radley at dawn. But what are the mysterious shiny black bags? Unfortunately, they are not giant alien droppings. They actually contain bale silage for feeding livestock; first take your conventional roll of hay, wrap in plastic and leave to ferment into yummy silage for farm animals. The farm machinery used for harvesting these lurks like some Steampunk
