There is some lateral fusingof the rugae. Case X.—Chronic Salpingitis with Calcification and Tubal Preg-nancy and Ovarian Cyst. The gross specimen consists of a tubal pregnancy and multiplecystic degeneration of the ovary. The Fallopian tube is distendedto a diameter of 6 cm. by an organized blood clot. The tubal wallis 5 mm. to 1 mm. in thickness. The cyst wall contiguous to thetube is intact, and the cyst lying between the tube and theovary is 5 cm. in diameter. The second cyst, within the ovary, is17 mm. in diameter and the distended rim of the ovary is 1 cm. inthickness. The ovary is disposed so as to lie directly below the twocysts, which are directly below the tube. The fimbriated end of thelube shows an almost complete retraction within the lumen of thetube. Microscopic Examination.—Section (a) illustrates a flattened 25G JAMES E. DAVIS,. Case —Drawing of gross specimen. A few partially inverted fimbriae are are typically elongated and contain calcium deposits andconsiderable blood pigment. The stroma is infiltrated with plasmacells and lymphocytes.
