Falfurrias, Texas - EMTs prepare to transport a man injured when an van holding 26 undocumented immigrants from Central America overturned on Texas Highway 285. The driver had picked up the migrants just down the road after they had completed a several-day walk to get around a Border Patrol checkpoint. Overloaded and unstable, the van crashed as it drove away at high speed. Two seriously-injured men remained at the scene. The others ran off, pursued by Border Patrol officers.
