All in all, this was one of the best trips which the members (dub ever had. A. F. F. ber 4, of the Flower Shoj), at 6C8 Clin- ton avennc, north, Rochester, N. Y., by Horace J. Head, well known to the trade in that city and state and in neighboring states. The two aecom- panying illustrations show the exterior and interior of this store. The salesroom is artistically finished; the color scheme is light IjIuo with white enamel woodwork, which com- prises a good-sized counter, with a mir- ror at the l)ack, and a wall case op- posite. Willow furniture finished in blue and gold and a blue rug add to the charm of the store. Mr. Head con- ceived the idea of a novel lighting effect, ]iroduced by the use of shades made of parchpient with blue panel de- signs, inverted. Blue cretonne of strik- ing design is used as a drape in the win- dow and lends itself admirably to use witli the flowers at this season. Horace J.
