She consists of two vessels of narrow beam, but extremely sharp in build, with a large paddle-wheel between them, the flooring connecting the vessel giving, with them, a great width of beam; and a good rate of speed has been arrived at. A vessel of similar construction, named the Gemini, was tried on the Thames some years since with but little success, though a comfortable and excellent passenger-boat.'
