GREAT LAKES, Ill. (May 30, 2017) Aviation Machinist's Mate 1st Class Thomas Eaton, Recruit Division Commander in the USS Pearl Harbor barracks, Recruit Training Command, instructs new recruits how to properly render a salute. New recruits housed in a temporary barracks when they arrive where personnel spend time guiding them through Navy procedures. About 30,000-40,000 recruits graduate annually from the Navy's only boot camp.
