Then he settleddown to farming in Montgomery townslup,where he continued to reside until 1904, inthat year moving to Green township and buy-ing the farm of twenty-eight acres upon whichhe has since resided. He also owns the oldhomestead of 134 acres in Montgomery town-ship. He has become one of the most promi-nent residents of his locality.
