We received from many of the best-known gardeners in the country testimonials of this variety. John Paget, gardener at Pennsylvania Hospital, Harrisburg, Pa., sent us specimens from open ground on June 19, 1897, each weighing 2| pounds. The above specimens were all with hard, white heads, crisp, of fine flavor, very tender. During the summer many of our customers reported on their phenomenal suc- cess with the Wonderful, having produced specimens weighing 6 pounds. James Camp- bell, gardener to J. D. Winsor, Esq., Haver- ford, Pa., exhibited specimens at the Penn- sylvania Horticultural Society during the summer which weighed 4 pounds each ; they were images of winter Cabbage with outer leaves removed.
