The stomachis small, oblong, and has its outlet nearthe enirance; coecum small; and there arenumerous saUent and parallel laminae in thecourse of the intestines. The penis has onlytwo tubercles. These animals inhabit therivers and marshes of New Holland, andparticularly the neighbourhood of Port Jackson. Fig. . ;.
