KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan (July 22, 2018) -- An Afghan Air Force pilot of a UH-60A Black Hawk assigned to the 2nd Wing Afghan National Army at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, communicates to his air crew prior to flying on July 22, 2018. The Afghan air crew are trained to plan flying missions from briefing an air crew, leading a flying formation and routing a flight path. The mission of TAAC-Air is to train, advise and assist Afghan partners to develop a professional, capable and sustainable Afghan Air Force.
