Artist/engraver/cartographer: Isaak Tirion (1705 in Utrecht – 1765 in Amsterdam), an 18th-century Dutch publisher and cartographer. Provenance: "Atlante Novissimo", Pier Andrea Capello, Presso Giambatista Albrizzi Q. Gir, Venice. Type: Decorative 18th century copperplate antique map. The map covers present-day north west Germany and eastern Netherlands, from Liege close to the southern edge of the map, to Utrecht and the Zuider Zee in the west, and to Hamburg and Lauenburg in the north east corner.
