Summit of Le Grand Benare, 3rd highest peak (2896m) on Reunion Island, French overseas department in Indian Ocean. You can hike here from Piton Maido. Though clouds move swiftly in and out, when clear you look into the "Cirque de Mafate" and "Cirque de Cilaos". It is the third highest volcanic peak on the island, after the Piton des Neiges and the Gros Morne.
